Optomec LENS CS 800 System

Optomec’s brand new LENS CS 800 incorporates the very best in advanced DED processing capabilities and is the ideal system for mid to large size industrial part processing. With laser powers up to 3 kW and equipped with the new LDH 3.X deposition head, this system has a large range of processing capabilities from interesting geometric part contours at lower powers up to high power, high deposition rate cladding applications. All LENS classic series systems come standard with controlled atmosphere to allow for processing of reactive metals. The CS 800 comes standard with a powerful Siemens 840D controller and can operate in up to simultaneous 5 axis with the MasterCAM/LENS plug-in. It can be equipped with up to four powder feeders allowing for functional grading or special alloy blending during a build. The system is ideal for new part building, existing part repair/restoration, part modification/feature adding, coating and cladding operations.
